commercial boiler insurance

Boiler insurance for your business

When you run your own business there are lots of things to manage. If you operate out of business premises, it's important that you're covered should the worst happen. That is also true of your boiler.

If your boiler broke down, you could be without hot water and heating, which could affect the day-to-day running of your business. With breakdown insurance you can recoup the cost of repairing or replacing faulty boiler parts which cause a breakdown. Helping you to get back up and running as quickly as possible.

  • Cover for gas and oil boilers
Cover for the components and controls within the boiler casing and back boiler.
  • Support with claims
We provide a claims limit of up to £1,500 per year including VAT, and there's no limit to the number of claims you can make.
  • Choose your engineer
If your boiler breaks down, Boilerplus allows you to arrange repairs with your own suitably qualified engineer (please refer to the full T&C's), so you can continue to use someone you know and trust.

Conventional boiler

Most boilers fitted before 1 April 2005 are conventional. They heat the water which they store in a hot water tank or cylinder, and include a manual override button (or emersion heater.)

Conventional condensing boiler

Conventional boilers fitted after 1 April 2005 must be condensing. They work the same as conventional boilers, but also use the heat trapped in condensation to heat the water, making it more energy efficient.

Combination boiler

Combination boilers have become increasingly more popular. They do not feature a hot water tank, instead the hot water goes straight to the taps.
